How to reach
Sonmarg is well connected with Srinagar. If you wish to travel to Sonmarg by air then you need to take flight for Srinagar, which is only 70 Km from your desired location.
Train route to Sonmarg is not much helpful, as you need to take train for Jammu and then travel the rest of the distance by taxi or bus. However, Srinagar Railway station can be a good option.
There are plenty of deluxe bus services from Srinagar (80 Km), Gulmarg (128 Km), Pahalgam (163 Km), Kokernag (159 Km) and Jammu (approximately 400 Km). You can plan the journey through the spectacular Kashmir valley or NH 1D if you book your taxi.
