A popular city founded by Mughal Emperor and recognized as the Gateway to the Northern Indian State of Haryana, Bahadurgarh is a very famous place in not only Haryana but in whole Delhi NCR. It is a tehsil located in Jhajjar District. It is also a municipal council comprising of thirty one wards. Bahadurgarh is about 30 km apart from New Delhi.
The city of Bahadurgarh was founded by Aziz-ud-din Alamgir II who served for five years as the Sultan of Delhi. Formerly it was known as Sharafabad, and after handing over this town to the Baloch Rulers named Bahadur Khan and Tej Khan in Jagir (responsibility to maintain the financial system of an area during Mughal Period), they changed the name of the town from Sharfabad to Bahadurgarh.
Being a historical place, it collects information regarding those ancient period of Mughal Empire. It is visited to gather knowledge as it is also a hotspot of several government and private colleges with career-oriented organizations. Bahadurgarh is flooded with more than one million of population, though it has many beautiful serene places where one can feel the nature and get lost into recollecting its history. HOW TO REACH

The nearest airport to Bahadurgarh is Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Visitors landing from flight can directly take metro route from metro stations named IGI Airport (T3) and Delhi Aerocity (T2 & T1). From there they have to drop at New Delhi and can take yellow line to reach Rajiv Chowk which has Blue Line. The metro station for Bahadurgarh is still under construction. But there is an alternate option which you can take as of now. You have to catch a metro in Green Line from Kirti Nagar or Inderlok. Both of them lie in Blue Line and Red Line respectively. From these stations, you have to drop yourself at Mundka. Countless buses, cabs or autos can be found towards Bahadurgarh. Delhi is connected well with metro to Bahadurgarh. So it is the best option for majority of people from Delhi.
Buses and trains also commute to Bahadurgarh from Gurgaon and Delhi and from other major cities of Delhi NCR too.
