Only 48 Km from the Delhi NCR, Greater Noida is a newly built census town. The town is actually located in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, which is an extended part of Noida. The place has developed immense popularity and grabbed attention for being one of the well known business centres and educational institutions.
Adventure Activities:-The business town is filled with numerous adventure zones like Budh International Circuit, golf course, etc. However, you might not get the flavour of rock climbing or rafting core inside the town. To compensate for that, you can drive to Noida for visiting Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Damdama Lake, Manesar: Heritage village, etc. Well, GNIDA is planning to set up a Night safari (first time in India) in greater Noida, but for that you will need to wait couple of years.
How to Reach:- The city is well connected with Delhi as well as other cities of neighbouring states. For tourists, October to March is the best time to visit the place as the summer months in Greater Noida is intolerable.
Indira Gandhi International Airport is the closest international air base from greater Noida (72 Km).
Though Dadri Railway station is only at 8 Km proximity from the industrial hub, but New Delhi Railway station is known to be the major railway stop to the place. However, Faridabad Railway station (20.5 Km) and Tuglakabad Railway Station (21 Km) also bridges with Greater Noida.
Yamuna Expressway and Noida Expressway connects the place for the people coming on own vehicle. The nearest places from greater Noida are New Delhi (40.2 Km), Gurgaon (67 Km), Lansdowne (254 Km) and Jaipur (302 Km).
